Untold Creepypasta Anthology, Vol. 1
by N.V. Ashwood
Not all of them had heads.
That’s the part the police couldn’t cover up. Eight people walked up the forbidden mountain in the Guatemalan highlands. A month later, a goat herder found what was left of them. The case was closed in forty-eight hours. Drug-related, the report said. File and forget.
Crime reporter Elena Vásquez doesn’t buy it. The dead include a YouTuber making cooking videos, a nurse with no record of trouble, and a mountain guide who’d worked the region for twenty years. They weren’t cartel people. They went up Cerro Xocomil looking for something else — something a grandmother had been telling her grandson about since he was a little boy.
Working from a memory card recovered by her best friend, Elena pieces together what really happened on the mountain. The treasure hunt that started as a YouTube stunt. The ground-penetrating radar that detected something that shouldn’t exist. The pattern of identical deaths going back to 1962. And the recordings, recovered last — the ones that prove one of the eight is still out there.
The deeper Elena digs, the more she realizes that the mountain has a way of getting what it wants. And what it wants is people like her.
The most dangerous thing on that mountain was never the mountain itself.

About the series
Untold Creepypasta Anthology is a collection of horror stories sourced from across the world — local legends, unsolved disappearances, and village rumors that never made it to a forum thread or a YouTube video. Each volume is a standalone tale, retold in the slow-burn creepypasta tradition: stories your grandmother started telling and was too tired to finish, the ones the algorithm never found, the ones you've never heard.
